I didn't super jive with Declan and Jonas, but I still really enjoyed their book. I really liked the caretaking between them; not only just Jonas talking care of Declan when he was injured, but Declan doing his best to try to take care of Jonas when he was overworked, too. I thought they had good chemistry together, and I loved how cuddly they were and how their favorite activity was having Jonas read his mystery novels aloud for Declan. This book is also full of Annabeth Easter eggs, and it was super fun to see the little references to other stories that aren't even technically connected to the Mount Hope series. I'm really looking forward to the next book, too. Eric is probably going to absolutely break my heart, but I'm so ready for him to get his happy ending!
