lesbian ocean horror… this is everything i needed, and in turn this book took my heart out and stomped all over it (in the best way, of course).
the relationship between miri and leah was so beautiful, as well as the exploration of grief and loss. my poor gay heart.
the deep ocean is a subconscious fear i think most people have, and being trapped in that is such a terrifying idea. i loved it.
i just wish i knew more about what happened and why – i’d give my soul for any more information.
julia armfield’s prose is beautiful as well, which is always an added bonus
