Great book! I enjoyed it very much. It's a long, but comfortable ride. Having 2 kids, 19 & 22, the voice for Charlie doesn't read right, but I can understand not knowing how kids speak these days if you don't live with one. I live with 2 and still am learning new slang all of the time.

I absolutely loved Charlie's relationship with Mr. Bowditch & Radar and I give that portion of the book 5+ stars. I enjoyed the remainder of the book, but didn't love it as much (not a big fantasy reader), so I give the second storyline 4.5 stars.
