This is one of the best and grittiest horror stories I’ve ever read. It was dark, it was gory, it was heartfelt, and it was suspenseful. It sometimes gets pretty heavy with some of the body horror descriptions, but there is so much variety and uniqueness. The author can paint quite the picture with his words. It was interesting to me to read about a wide range of teenage boy personalities. Corey Brill (Narrator) brings the characters to life.
