3.0

If I could do half-stars, this would be a 3.5 for me. The prose was well-written and the vibes super cozy, but I didn't have the time with her inner-circle characters to really build an attachment to them. Her love interest had all the right ingredients, but she spent the entire novel putting space between them (even when they had gotten together at the end?), so it was hardly satisfying. I was surprised by the ending and all the hidden connections, but it just felt lacking in some way. A cute lil witchy read for the season, but not one I care to revisit.
