This was the first book I finished reading this year and fortunately it was good one. Darren Shen was a lovable character

The ending was really emotional to be told. This is my second vampire novel I'm reading and for me this is my cup of tea rather than Empire of the Vampire and it's swearing and church full of bastards .

I very much look forward to the second book.
