Queen Bee was so much fun! I was living for the "Anti-Historical" vibes that the Bridgerton show brought us. Where the cast is diverse but the setting is regency era England. The characters and story was charming and witty. The twists were well done, I flew through the pages.
♟️ Revenge
♟️ Betrayal
♟️ High Society Intrigue
♟️ Enemies-to-Lovers
♟️ Second Chance
♟️ Bridgerton Anti-Historical Vibes
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧.
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐞.
I really like second chances, especially when we see characters and growth like we have in Queen Bee. The alternating timeline was done very well. The story takes themes of revenge and forgiveness, mixed with mortality and how society treated women. It was wrapped up nice and cleanly in the end, so you HEA lovers will really enjoy this story.
𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶.
If you enjoyed watching Bridgerton, this is a wonderful YA option! I hope that we get to come back and get more stories from the perspective of some of the side characters, I would LOVE to learn more about them.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
