Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

5.0

This is what it feels like to read a book and have it feel like home. Every chapter felt like I was watching a new episode or even half of one.

This book reminded me so much of one of my favorite tv shows: Hart of Dixie. From the time that Naomi arrived in Knockemout to when she and Knox are sharing a heartfelt moment about the rest of their lives together. When Zoey arrived in Bluebell things weren't all sunshine and rainbows but the closing scene from the last episode had the job of converting exactly that. Naomi and Knox are my Wade and Zoey.

Lucy Score conveyed such an amazing small town dynamic where everyone looked out for one another. I couldn’t have asked for anything better than what I got from this book. To be honest with you I will wait however long it takes for this to be made into a tv show!

To say that I have a favorite character would be a lie. Every character brought something to the table whether they were a side character or a main one. I see myself reading this book at least four more times in my life because it was just that amazing. This is my new standard for small town romance books.

I feel as though I was hooked with this book as soon as Knox started calling Naomi Daisy because it reminded her of the first time he met her and she has DAISY’S in her hair!
