Cracks in the Ice by Ryan Taylor, Joshua Harwood
4.0
A very lovely romance with a lot of feelings, from heartbreak to swoons.
Lost in the grief of losing his wife, Benny is finally coming out the other side. At least he’s functioning, but his heart will never heal.
Cole just can’t seem to find a good guy. One that actually cares about him. So he’s sworn off men. His heart just can’t take any more heartbreak.
But that isn’t so easy when the perfect man ends up becoming his roommate. Benny is beautiful, fit, and treats Cole like he matters.
These two form a really tight friendship, which is super sweet. I love a slow burn, friendship to lovers story. Through it all there is a lot of self-discovery, acceptance, and healing.
There are some great secondary characters that I hope we’ll get to see stories for.
