Gay x vampires, what more do I need to say...?

Sure, this wasn’t the most incredible book ever written, but it was wholesome, fast-paced, and apparently what I needed at the time of reading.

Honestly, it was just a nice easy read (it does have some dark content though so do be warned) and was really fun if you don’t take it too seriously!

The writing does feel a bit fanfiction-y, but A) that is not always a bad thing, and B) I wasn’t looking to read some Shakespearian well-structured award winner anyway, I was here for some happy vampiric gays and got exactly that.

I read this one in only one sitting because I was entirely hooked by the romance plot. The underlying main plot however didn't intrigued me as much, so I hope that gets more depth in book 2- but so far the main couple sold me to keep going with the series!
