My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey
3.0
I enjoyed some aspects of this grumpy x sunshine romance but definitely didn't enjoy all of it.
The good. I enjoyed the cozy mystery more than I thought I would! I'm actually hoping that Tessa Bailey does more in that area because I found it really cute. I also really liked the relationship between Taylor and Jude (her brother) and how they have come to rely on each other so much as their parents weren't really around for them.
The bad. I found the romance to be very insta-love and felt far too physical from the moment the characters met. Myles (the male MC) was constantly thinking about how much he wanted to sleep with Taylor to the point where it just became repetitive. I was also really annoyed with how he continually made assumptions about Taylor when they barely knew each other and how he stole her underwear within 15 minutes of meeting her and everyone was just fine with it.
Something about these characters just didn't work for and I was just disappointed.
