I'm so happy Holly Black ended this duology on a strong note!
Unlike the Stolen Heir, The Prisoner's Throne is told in 3rd person, single POV and follows Oak. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this choice, but I still enjoyed this book nonetheless.
What did I love about this book?
π Character development, especially Oak
π Romance subplot
π Angst, mystery, betrayal
π Glimpses of Jude & Cardan, who I adore
π Satisfying ending that isn't overdone
Where did it fall short?
π There are unfortunately some loose ends, in my opinion
