Since the first book I read of hers, [a:Nicole Dykes|13701591|Nicole Dykes|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1451592169p2/13701591.jpg] has become a MUST READ to me, and [b:Outcast|59432602|Outcast|Nicole Dykes|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1662410728l/59432602._SY75_.jpg|93614473] is no exception, especially since Hayden has been one of the most anticipated supporting characters.
Luckily and as usual, this book has not disappointed me. On the contrary, I must say that I was surprised, because the "drama" or "anguish" in the story did not focus where I thought it would and that is a main theme in many stories where a straight guy starts to feel "things" for another guy. It's a refreshing change and I loved it.
To this is added that the two main characters are endearing, despite the fact that each one has had to face their own demons, something that still affects them, but more deeply Hayden who cannot see his own value. Tristan ends up being his pillar, showing him, with patience and with deeds and not just words, how much he is worth.
Highly recommended!
