Having found their first ever out-of-world memory feather, Syaoran, Fai and Kurogane are now officially joined by a conscious Princess Sakura. Well, what remains of Sakura. She has vague memories of a desert place and she knows her name, but that's it. With this new challenge the group travels to a second new world. There a town is under the tyrannical rule of a powerful magic user who may or may not have something feather-shaped in his possession.
I'm still enjoying the plot and the characters! Really want to know what the deal is with Fai's backstory, and I'm enjoying his interactions with Kurogane. I'm hoping Sakura gets to be more of a character soon. The way Syaoran has to interact with her, a stranger wearing a familiar and loved face, is a good emotional thread, but I also want to see her get to be her own person, complete memories or no. On to volume 4!
