Coming here after being a fan of Jenna’s Youtube channel and books, I was so excited she was going to release a book on the art of writing one! I love her style - one of the things I was most excited for - and reading books on the writing/publishing process is something I enjoy.

Shut Up and Write the Book is perfect for new writers who are planning to write their first book…or overwhelmed, possibly sleep-deprived, and ready to chunk that hefty manuscript they’ve already written away.

Even as someone who’s been writing (maybe a bit on and off) for about 8 years, I still find it helpful and refreshing to read books like SUAWTB to remind myself how amazingly complex novel writing is AND that it’s entirely possible!

I don’t have any complaints about this book, but I do have a hope that Jenna will build on the writing steps, maybe in future books, because I think she has a lot of things she could share with the writing community - or rather, the ones who don’t know about her Youtube channel, Writing with Jenna Moreci!
