Save Me a Seat by Gita Varadarajan, Sarah Weeks
3.0
My kid read this as a classroom read in 4th grade and said I would like it too. And I did! It’s pretty quick and surface-level in terms of characters, but I think that works for younger readers because they focus more on the differences between people initially, then the commonalities. I think it’s a great book to help kids remember to be kind to everyone.
