This is my first middle grade read of the year and I enjoyed it.

This one seamlessly woven a realistic story about envisioning your dream as a kid plus the added commentary about mental health and how generations have different interpretation about it.

The author's writing style really stood out in voicing out the main character especially about the things she always think about - her dream of being a great artist even if her parents aren't the most supportive about it, issues in her home, and the anxiety that plagues her every day. 4stars!
