I truly loved Vince & Britsol's story.
After meeting and dating in high school, they formed a strong connection. Unfortunately, Vince needs to leave town for many reasons but also to pursue his dream of being a rock star. Years pass, and they've seen each other once (7 years ago) in all that time.
Now, Vince is "successful" and Bristol had to put her dreams on hold but is still working on it. When their paths cross as Vince hires the PR team that Bristol is currently working at, things get confusing. Bristol is holding her cards close to her chest, and Vince doesn't know why. While Vince is still trying to work through some trauma and doesn't know how he and Bristol will look on the other side of it.
This book hit all the feels! From the beginning, you just want to root for them. Despite their flaws and secrets, you can see how explosive their connection is. Vince cares so much about Bristol but he doesn't know how to care for her long-term. While Bristol wishes she could give herself to Vince, she now has different priorities.
Their romance was a whirlwind and I was strapped in every step of the way. I loved seeing them open up to each other throughout the book and try to find common ground. I totally felt their connection and understood their hesitance with each other. Bristol is protective of her secrets, but when everything comes out. I love how everything was handled. It wasn't easy but they worked together. Their communication was hard at first, but they slowly learned how to talk to each other again and everything int he end was worth it.
I loved their romanace and am so happy for their happily ever after.
