Helen Hoang is a phenomenal romance writer and I absolutely love all of her books. The Heart Principle is her most recent romance which follows Anna and Quan. Anna is going to therapy because she’s struggling to play music (she’s a musician) And things just got worse when her boyfriend of many years requests for them to be in a open relationship. Which she has no desire to be in. But she decides to go with the flow and download a dating app where she meets Quan.
Quan is not looking for a serious relationship, he’s just looking to get back in the game after his medical procedure, but is he going to end up falling in love with the first girl he meets?
I love this book because it has romance, there is some smart but not overpowering the storyline and I absolutely love the representation of autism the discussions of masking and how autism looks different in women and the family aspect of the story which I feel like everybody can relate to. I know I did.
if you’re looking for a romance that is relatable, has family struggles, and personal growth and I highly recommend this book for you!
