So. I was super excited to read this, and maybe that was my first mistake. High expectations are hardly ever met! I saw a 4 star review posted by a woman I trust with these types of books and her comparison to Never Been Kissed (the awesome Drew Barrymore) had me so excited.

While I definitely did understand where those comparisons come from, I just never got to connect with the characters enough to...well...care about them.
