The Havoc of Choice by Wanjiru Koinange

4.0

Great first book from Wanjiru Koinange. I found it a bit difficult to get into the story at first, but once I did I stayed up to finish it. The story of an (upper) middle class family in Kenya and how the post election violence touched each of their lives. It is such a clear presentation of what politics means to this country. Highly recommended.

Very captivating story, my only gripe is the death of one of the main character, I didn't feel like it helped the story in any way, it didn't help resolve anything -- I don't know. It felt very unnecessary.
