An in-between book that focuses on the characters and their trauma in the aftermath of a war. It really made me invested in the characters, (more than I already was!) and it was great to hear more from characters who’s perspective the rest of the series doesn’t speak from. I listened to the whole book over two days and didn’t want to stop reading (much like the rest of the series)!
