Angie's Gladiator by Ruby Dixon
- Loveable characters? Yes

I liked this one better than I thought I would. I'm glad the author explored the relationship between Vordis and Thrand to have them become individuals. Thrand's actions were irritating, but they made sense for the clone mentality.
I liked both Vordis and Angie. They were a sweet and thoughtful couple. Their book was cozy and heart-warming until the conflict/climax.
My one complaint is the conflict that happened over the hut building.I feel like Angie's reaction was over the top, and I didn't like the miscommunication that happened. Vordis clearly said it wasn't a competition, but she just listened to Thrand and what she was told by others. I didn't like that she didn't listen or try to get Vordis to explain more.
All ends well, of course. I just hate third act breakups, especially for dumb reasons.
