Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #2 by Donald Mustard, Christos Gage

4.0

A really really really cool second Volume in this series, living up to what I was hoping for after I finished the first.

Batman gradually begins to figure out the storm by leaving himself messages; to pick up from where he left off each time he awakens with no memory. I love the development of his relationship with Catwoman. Despite their memories being reset, their connection remains and grows. Though they are strangers, they know they are lovers.

What I really like about this series so far is that it’s not over the top with the Fortnite side. It doesn’t feel cringey or that it’s aimed for kids. It makes a solid Batman comic, just with supernatural vibes. Also I’m a big Groundhog Day fan so I find this storyline very enjoyable and interesting. Plus the artwork looks really great too.

Tbh I could have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t just a short volume. I’m looking forward to the next one even more so now!
