This is not an easy read, but it is an absolutely imperative one for your anti-racism journey. I was vaguely aware of the injustices of the criminal "justice" system, but feel much better educated after reading Ms. Alexander's incredible book. I would absolutely add this to my quickly growing list of Essential Re-Education Resources.
