kristen is not like other girls. josh is abby jimenez’s worst man. there’s misogyny, “other girl”-ism, and so much more. i did not like this one very much!! lots of cringey lines about kristen being a “unicorn” bc a girl who drinks beer, eats pizza/tacos, and doesn’t wear makeup is “rare.” sigh. poor ocd representation, too. what a bizarre book and rare miss from abby!
