Another great installment in the CU hockey series!
some specifics I loved:
some specifics I loved:
- Beck's sister! She's smart and sassy and teases her brother, plus she's super insightful about Beck's situationship
- We get to meet both Beck's and Jacobs' families!
- Beck discovers he loves coaching so much and his character growth is amazing
- Their first date & the clumsy asking-out that gets them there (no spoilers! go read it for yourself!)
- Beck and Jacobs still being competitive with each other, even once they are hooking up/dating
- Jacobs being unsure about his sexuality -- he's pretty sure he's gay but waivers with a bi label, too. I love when characters don't immediately land on a label, but not in an angsty way. Just, Jacobs is trying to figure out who he is, and he doesn't have a label that he feels 100% sure about, and that's fine because sexuality is a spectrum & it evolves & it's all good.
