Sunreach by Brandon Sanderson, Janci Patterson
4.0
3.5 but rounding up for overall story enjoyment and taynix trills.
I don't mind bringing in another author for these side stories, but I do wonder how I'd feel about this novella if it had been 100% Sanderson. It definitely felt more YA then the main novels, and I wasn't a fan of the rushed, clumsy romance. I usually wish Sanderson was a little more heavy handed with his romance, but this wasn't it. FM was fun to read about, but I didn't have much of an impression of her beforehand, so she was a little bland overall. I'm definitely more intrigued with the next two novellas and their characters.
