I've really been enjoying P&P re-imaginings lately! I've read several twists, this was the first with a "ghost" type idea. Honestly, this was a little slow to start, not hooking me right away, but then I fell into the story and got wrapped up in it - wanting to keep reading into the night, and during the day when I needed to be doing other things. I wasn't very surprised at the shift near the end ... even if Darcy hadn't anticipated that possibility, I had (perhaps based on another book with a person and a "ghost" forming a relationship, just to find his body was in a coma somewhere. AND the RomCom "Just Like Heaven" ... and the female lead there is also Elizabeth). At times, I'd get a little irritated, felt like it was trying a bit too hard adding in bits from the original "fine eyes" and other quotes, but overall ... Loved it ;)
