Jagger. Has. Done. It. AGAIN

We met Kenzo briefly in his last 2 books and he’s one of those characters who you just KNEW was gonna have a great story.

This is book 1 of a new series by him following the Yakuza and honestly, it felt very different than his other works. Not only are the characters a little older, it also was filled with beautiful pieces of Japanese culture. It felt incredibly elevated.

As always, he brought us the twists & turns! The plot thickened and then the action hit and I was speed reading to figure out how it all ended.

Kenzo & Annika’s chemistry was literally dripping off the pages. I was so enamored with them from the very beginning. Their banter, their spicy moments and their sweet ones made it all even more so.
