Damn, this was so good. I don’t think it’s possible for Keira Andrews to write a book I don’t love. I adore the way she writes.
I loved that this book was written with kinda old-timey words (since it’s set in the 1700s), but not overdone to the point where I had to google a bunch of stuff. The balance was just right.
As with any KA book, I was definitely able to feel the chemistry and emotion between the MCs. I cried at a few points, and that’s usually my marker for how connected I feel to the characters.
