A beautifully written book that captured my imagination and kept me enchanted throughout. I've been putting off reading this book for fear that i didn't like it, but truth be told its one of the most captivating books I've ever read and would heartily recommend it to anyone with an interest in Japanese culture or geisha. I can't express in words how much i enjoyed this book, i finished it in only one day because i couldn't put it down. The description and use of metaphors is used skilfully in just the right places and quantity, and help to clear up some points that would otherwise be hard to grasp. I certainly feel enriched by reading this book.
