Faithful by Alice Hoffman

5.0

I love Alice Hoffman, again! For years, I read everything she wrote ---even the YA. The last few books have been disappointing but I soldiered through them. I felt I owed her that. When I saw Faithful, I almost passed it by, afraid of being let down, again. I wasn't even excited by the summary. But my nostalgia for the good old days of "Property Of" , "Turtle Moon" and "Practical Magic" got the best of me. I picked it up anyway and let it sit on my table for a few weeks. One day, I opened it, read the first few pages and devoured it in two days. Alice Hoffman is such a prolific writer, I suppose every book can't be magic. This one is.
