Slewfoot: A Tale of Bewitchery by Brom
3.0
From reading the first few chapters of 'SLEWFOOT' I came to the conclusion that I wished certain descriptions of scenes, setting and character's appearance/actions were fleshed out more. For example, the horror elements should've been written/described with more in-depth imagery from the author especially chapters 1 & 2 - as the beginning could've captivated me more. Despite this, I really enjoyed being amerced in the world, following Abiatha's journey to becoming 'The Witch', the exploration of feminism within the story, and the overall joy I felt from reading this book that I was so excited about.
