Ahhh I’m screaming I enjoyed this romance so much! I was constantly laughing, swooning, and giggling throughout the whole thing.

Elsie is so relatable as a character! The way she thinks and acts is exactly how I feel like when interacting with others. I create this other version of myself, though not to the extent as Elsie.

Jack is the perfect fictional man. I love the “he falls first” trope. He is constantly conscious of Elsie’s thoughts and feelings. He is hilarious and witty. The banter between the two is throughly enjoyable. Not to mention, I love that he takes care of her.

The side characters were phenomenal in this book. My favourite were Jacks grandmother and all the friends. Greg was fun too, and I like the small representation he brings into the story. I wish we got more of that.

The spicy scenes were limited but still enjoyable none the less. I find the ending conflict wasn’t much of a conflict, which made the story anti climatic at the end. But the romance had me swooning from beginning to end.

There was so many things that I loved about this book that I could talk about it for a while. So all I’ll say is this, I loved it and if you enjoy the tropes I mentioned above then pick this up!

You do not have to read the other books to read this one.
