A great start to a new series - a police procedural with the British division of the Met that deals with wizards, ghosts, goddesses, gods and other legendary types.  Peter Grant is a newly graduated constable headed for a desk job, when he is approached by a ghost when investigating an incident. He is soon partnered with Inspector Nightingale - and working to solve murders being carried out by a long dead British actor basing his actions on Punchinella. He meets Mother and Father Thames - who have to help him solve the problem.
