4.5 this is my first memoir that I’ve ever read and omg it was incredible! I am trying to listen to nonfiction audiobooks for #nonfictionnovemeber and came across this one by accident and I’m so happy I did! It was so heart felt and sad but in the best way. The way Emily writes about her personal experiences really makes you feel like you are right there experiencing them with her. It made me happy and sad and jealous and empowered all at the same time. I feel like I felt what she felt in that moment. I highly recommend this to just about everyone! It’s definitely Italy more on the sad side but it leaves me wanting to know more. Where are they now?
