Penelope In Retrograde is a hilarious and entertaining read. I couldn’t help but to root for Penelope, the protagonist, despite her messiness. Other reviewers noted that they found her to be annoying, but I did not feel the same way. The family dynamics highlighted in this story felt very real and I found myself quickly consumed with the story. I cannot wait to read whatever Abrams, the author, writes next!
