Very dark, very creepy and full of Gaiman magic. Coraline is a wonderful little story about being kind, conquering fears and above all about being brave - and I loved every page of it. That being said, I'm not sure if this really is a children's book, because there are some things in there that would have scared me as a child. To be honest, those button eyes even freak me out as an adult.
