These poems are haunting and beautiful. This collection focuses on Partition and how it affected families in the long run. My schools never taught us about Partition - never even mentioned it - so these poems were definitely something to learn from and gave a very real perspective on what it's like to be in a country you call home that doesn't actually feel like home.
