Every Exquisite Thing by Matthew Quick

4.0

I have mixed feelings about this book. I was head over heels from the beginning until the middle of the story, but the near-ending is such a turn off for me. I still enjoyed it though.

I loved him like I loved walking through summer grass barefoot, like I loved a warm mug in my palms, like I loved driving on a long road at the sun sets in the distance. It was a good, safe, simple sort of friendship.

P.S.: I'm OBSESSED how the book came with a different cover (outer and inner, if you bought a hardcover one). It's like I also own TBR and it makes me sappy
