First read in 2019, reread in 2022 as an audiobook.
Still loving this retelling with a focus on Circe's point of view. I've since read the Odyssey and it was fun to see how many details are in Circe. Since gaining this new background knowledge I appreciate this specific pov even more. I like that Odysseus wasn't necessarily presented as a hero and that the whole 'who tells the story' aspect was tackled here. Circe as she is presented here is a really interesting character.
