For One More Day by Mitch Albom

5.0

Very beautiful. It makes me cry. Remind me of the warmth of the family that I often take for granted, to appease the urge to be seen as an independent adult. We all did that, I think, in some point of our lives. That's why this book is very relatable for most of us (although I can understand some people don't like Albom's writing style. Personally, I like it.)

Like Posey Benetto said, "A child embarassed by his mother is just a child who has not lived long enough." One day we will understand why our parents behaved like they did, treated us like they did. And when that day comes, I hope it's not too late to hug them and say, "It's okay, Mom, Dad, I get it now."
