This book is gorgeous! The illustrations are perfect; soft and soothing yet filled with movement. The narrative is just enough. My only qualm, which is I'm sure a publisher decision and no fault of the author or illustrator, is that the backmatter is on the inside back cover for the book instead of an additional page. In the case of the library copy I have, the dust jacket covers part of the author's note, some of the biography, and the photograph of Hosea.
