Flawless by Elsie Silver

Flawless tells the story of Rhett, a famous bull rider who gets assigned a “babysitter” after a PR disaster. The babysitter, Summer, happens to be his manager’s daughter. Rhett starts off as a bit of an ass, which I didn’t enjoy at first, but once he gets over his tantrum about the babysitter situation, I really liked how his relationship with Summer evolved. They had great chemistry, and the steamy scenes were really good. I also appreciated the dynamic with Rhett’s family and the storyline of him struggling to give up bull riding, as it had been such a defining part of his identity.
However, the subplots involving Summer’s family and her ex felt convoluted and forced. Overall, I think the book had too many subplots, and since I wasn’t fully invested in all of them, certain parts felt boring to me. It was a mixed experience.
