Emotionally, this book left my heart feeling very raw. But while emotionally heavy with Amelia's past & present, it was still a romance with humor and found family/friendship that made my face hurt from smiling. The growth of the characters in this book was just amazing to read. Amelia is such a strong FMC who has been through so much and watching her get her HEA was everything. Nick was a dreamboat, I was swooning, blushing etc, that man had me in a chokehold. Nick was such a simp but drunk Nick scenes had me giggling bc he was such a simp x10. Nick and Amelia just complimented each other so well, being exactly what the other person needed. Also I have recently found that I really enjoy the playboy turned simp trope and Nick really fell into that hard. Excited to continue the series. The found family of this book was perfection and I would lay my life on the line for Ben. ALSO the epilogue letters??? I BAWLED
