Heiny’s writing is unusual, and I loved her descriptions and long lists. “She preferred Coke to Pepsi and jeans to chinos. Also, French fries to potato chips and candles to air fresheners. And being early to being late, TV to books, McDonald’s to Burger King...” (and on and on and on) p. 296-297.
