Brain Damage by Freida McFadden
Did not finish book.

So, either I’ve read this book before (and somehow not marked it as read? unlikely) or there’s another book out there that’s similar. Seriously, the deja vu is strong with this one.
It’s not even that great — it’s not even really a thriller, according to most of the lower rated reviews. I have to agree, although I’m really not far enough into it. I did spoil the ending for myself and guess what, the “plot twist” ain’t twisting. It was painfully obvious from so early on.
I’m almost done Freida’s complete backlist and now I’m really starting to see all the similarities between not just her books versus other published works, but just between her books alone. There’s always a handsome husband and a plain Jane wife. We always suspect the husband but we are lead to believe it’s a coincidence. Most of the time the husband ends up being involved in some way. It’s getting BORING.
