I felt there was an agenda from the first page. I did give it until the first chapter but couldn’t push on as I wasn’t pulled in by the characters & authors having agendas to then write into a contemporary “romcom” as it was listed?? Now I do understand that I am just one reader & white at that, however I feel it’s a cheap shot way to bring up a sensitive topic…🤷🏻‍♀️
