Loved this. Great characters. I didn't realize that it's the 3rd in a series, but it works on its own. Violent at times and beautifully written, Fools reminds me a bit of [a:Cormac McCarthy|4178|Cormac McCarthy|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1302752071p2/4178.jpg], specifically [b:No Country for Old Men|12497|No Country for Old Men|Cormac McCarthy|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327927085s/12497.jpg|2996445]. But - I know, heresy - I liked this a bit more. The characters were more developed and interesting.
